Naia is finally here! ✨🧜🏾✨ Belonging to a species of freshwater “mermaids” that once inhabited the rivers, ponds and swamps here in Elsewhere, they were once bountiful. Unfortunately populations have dwindled over time and only the luckiest among us have encountered one in the wild. Or unluckiest if you’ve met her teeth. 😉 Rarer still, witnessing a newborn such as Naia. ✨
Cast resin sculpture, hand painted by the artist. Base is walnut and brass, assembled and antiqued by the artist.
